Timber Doors

Timber has been the material of choice for door manufacture for generations and many timber doors are still in use that are more than a century old.

Our doors are constructed using only sustainably sourced engineered softwood and hardwood. This process enhances stability and durability, making the doors much less prone to movement. Using the most advanced coating systems and the finest architectural ironmongery with extensive warranties provides low maintenance windows and an impressive 60-year life span.

The Acoustic Range

The acoustic timber windows and doors from the Acoustic range reduce noise by absorbing the sound wave and causing it to lose power. This is achieved through, not only the glass but the frame itself, and each element is carefully designed to absorb and reflect pressure.

Whether positioned on a busy high street or road, with an overall window dB rating of up to 42dB you will find a solution to restore your very own sound of silence.

Paint and Stain Finishes

All timber products are fully factory finished as standard in a choice of softwood or hardwood FSC® engineered timber. The 4-stage finishing process of preservation, base-coat and two top coats give softwood products a smooth finish and hardwood a pitted effect due to its open pore structure.

The beauty of wood is that you can be adventurous in your choice of colour. With any RAL, BS or NCS paint finish available, you can find the colour that is right for you and your property.

Extensive warranties

Timber doors have a life span of up to 60 years, while your average UPVC doors would probably last less than 20 years. When maintained properly your wooden doors can efficiently reduce wear and tear (weathering) and last for a lifetime.
